Calgary and area is home to some of the most beautiful and productive trout streams the world over.  The Bow River is a world famous trout fishery harboring some of the biggest river run trout you will ever catch.  The Upper Bow River near Banff and Canmore is a pristine, wild, untouched fishery with cold, fast moving, gin clear water.  Brown Trout are the quarry here, and as you fight and land one in this ruggedly beautiful setting in the rocky mountains, "WOW" will be the only words that come to mind.  The Lower Bow River is the Blue Ribbon section of the river and is host to 2500 fish per mile.  Average size is from 16" - 20", with fish in the mid-twenties very common.  Here both Browns and Rainbows are pursued, with the legendary "Bow River Bullet" Rainbows always putting on a hard pulling, high flying, acrobatic show.  Our professional guides will give you a Bow River trip of a lifetime.
